LAW-The daily killer of Bharath
Have you ever discussed or thought about the 'hanging' policy of our country. In India the law punishes its citizen who attempts to commit suicide or kill others, stating that man has no right to take the lives of others as well as his own, only the Almighty has the right to do so.But the culprits or criminals (who are the children of Bharath)gets hanged (killed) by the law of our country ! Mysterious, isn't it ?
Many countries have stopped hanging (killing) the culprits. We Indians speak of 'Non-violence' and 'Ahimsa' as our principles as suggested by the father of our Nation Mahathma Gandhi. But the Law of Bharath kills its citizen each day blindly . Being a citizen of India it is not possible for me to digest such an action performing in our country.
These statements were powerfully picturised by Kamal Hassan- the veteran actor and director of the Indian film industry, in his film 'Veerumandi'.I agree with him in clear-cut.
Do You?
Please think of it.
Expecting your critics for the statements I have made.

Look unni i am not supporting kamal. It is my feeling that i have expressed here.I suggested kamal's film only as an example.I ask you ,what is the right for the law to kill a person. There are several other methods to punish the culprits. We have no right to kill a person.Whether kamal gets funds from Usa or not that I just doesn't matter (care). You also spoke about the reality of our body, but the common man does not think about the reality. He only wants to leave in this world peacefully. He don't know about the reality of the soul what you have said.I ask u,whether the physical body is real or not, what is the necessary for the law to kill a person?
I gave veerumandi only as an example for my thoughts. In the story the culprit was an innocent. But he was judjed by the law to be hanged. So he will lose his precious life in this world given by the Almighty without doing any crime.
Also in practical, judgements from our judges will not be perfect since they are human beings. So why killing/hanging a citizen ?

look i disagree with ur policies.criminals should be hanged.(not every one) serious criminals should be hanged.indian constitution is one of the best.if every one tells to change the law day by day, then matters will become worse.

I'm aware about the Ahimsa principle but the concept that law kills people is not exact. People kill people. People enact laws. As a lawstudent I am against capital punishment but the other aspect of it is to protect the society. What happens when we don't punish anymore, human beeing is pretty simple, when there is no punishment then he thinks it is allowed. So to keep society together we have to have at least some kind of punishment. My idea is - capital punishment should only be a cover up, while the criminal actually gets life sentence in solitary. Off course it is hard to do because there cannot be many witnesses or the information leaks.
