The VANQUISHER

Today Times of India has announced the top eleven musical albums of hindi films in the last 25 years.Six among them are:

• ASHIQUE
• DILWALE DULHANIYA LE JAYENGE
• HUM DIL DE CHUKHE SANAM
• DEVDAS
• DIL CHAHTHA HAI
• 1942 - A LOVE STORY

The rest five entries in the list are the albums composed by the musical wizard- A R Rahman.The albums are:-

• ROJA
• RANGEELA
• DILSE
• TAAL
• LAGAAN

The Jury chairman Jitesh Pilai lauded Mr.Rahman and commented that-"What Rahman would do, no one else would ever dare".

All this shows that Rahman has conquered the bollywood even from his debut till now.

But Rahman had got only a lukewarm response for the much awaited and expected Mangal Pandey- The Rising and he has some what disappointed us.

I eagerly hope that the maestro will be back with his unlimited excellence and will enchant us as he usually does.
