The VANQUISHER
Today Times of India has announced the top eleven musical albums of hindi films in the last 25 years.Six among them are:
- ASHIQUE
- DILWALE DULHANIYA LE JAYENGE
- HUM DIL DE CHUKHE SANAM
- DEVDAS
- DIL CHAHTHA HAI
- 1942 - A LOVE STORY
The rest five entries in the list are the albums composed by the musical wizard- A R Rahman.The albums are:-
- ROJA
- RANGEELA
- DILSE
- TAAL
- LAGAAN
All this shows that Rahman has conquered the bollywood even from his debut till now.
But Rahman had got only a lukewarm response for the much awaited and expected Mangal Pandey- The Rising and he has some what disappointed us.

IT MAKES NO SENSE.25 YEARS MEANS FROM 1980 ONWARDS.THEN WHERE IS SILSILA,MAINE PYAR KIYA,HUM APKE HAIN KAUN,DILTO PAGAL HAI,SWADES ETC
AND WHY DEVDAS,ASHIQUE,RANGEELA,TAAL ETC INCLUDED?
IS IT BASED ON QUALITY OR HITS?
IF ITS BASED ON QUALITY WHERE IS SWADES,SILSILA,DHADKAN,MAINE PYAR KIYA?
IF ITS BASED ON SUCCESS,WHERE IS HUM APKE HAIN KAUN,DIL TO PAGAL HAI,MAINE PYAR KIYA,SAAJAN
EVEN RAHMAN WOULDNT APPROVE THIS-HIS SWADES ,ZUBEIDAA ETC IS NOT INCLUDED INSTEAD RANGEELA AND TAAL IS INCLUDED
LOOK AT MY CHOICE:
SILSILA,HUM DIL DE CHUKE SANAM,MAINE PYAR KIYA,DIL TO PAGAL HAI,HUM APKE HAIN KAUN,DHADKAN,ROJA,SWADES,LAGAAN,ZUBEIDAA
